CODING ACTIVITIES in Our MATHEMATICS SCHOOL OF THE 2025 Project
- Coding activities with numbers, shapes, and patterns were implemented.
- Symmetry coding activity was carried out.
- Using colored cards, arrows, and a play mat, children were guided to follow instructions and move accordingly.
- Pixel coding activity was conducted.
- The products created by students through coding activities were displayed on the school boards.
Through these coding activities:
- Children’s algorithmic thinking, problem-solving, and creativity skills were developed.
- Coding was integrated with mathematics, play, daily life, and technology.
- Students made progress in 21st-century skills such as critical thinking, collaboration, and digital literacy.The coding activities were organized through the Wakalet tool by the project founder Fatma Duman and were turned into a collaborative product.
